AIT Earth Day Writing Contest

The American Institute in Taiwan launched an English writing contest in celebration of Earth Day. The contest is open to individuals up to and including 25-years of age who live in Taiwan and hold Taiwan passports. All essays must be the original, individual work of the submitter. AIT Director William A. Stanton takes part in an appreciation luncheon arranged by the U.S. Meat Export Federation. Director Stanton joined Minister of Economic Affairs Shih Yen-shiang, other officials from Taiwan, meat industry representatives, and others at this event to sample the first batch of U.S. bone-in beef in Taiwan under the 2009 Protocol.
